This image suffered from poor white balance. Once we corrected the white balance the image brightened and the true colors appeared. This shows how one simple change can have a huge impact on the quality of an image.
The perspective distortion made the cabinetry appear to be falling. We eliminated the distortion and tweaked rotation to correct the problem. The original image was also too dark so we increased exposure and corrected the color balance. Finally we expanded the tonal range to give greater detail in light and dark areas.
The original image was too dark with minor lens and perspective distortion. We corrected the distortion and adjusted exposure and expanded tonal range to make the woodwork more vibrant and noticeable. We also cropped the image to eliminate distractions and focus attention on our client's woodwork.
We removed the perspective distortion which made the stainless steel column appear to tilt. We also corrected the white balance to eliminate the amber cast thereby ensuring more accurate color representation.
The corrections we made to the original image were fairly subtle. The image had a slight blue cast, there was minor lens distortion and it was slightly underexposed. We corrected all of that and increased the tonal range to give greater detail in dark areas. Notice how much more detail is visible in the ceiling of the corrected image.
We corrected the strong lens distortion to make vertical elements vertical. We also increased the tonal range to give greater detail in darker areas, and we adjusted the white balance to improve color accuracy.
We corrected the lens distortion that made the white column appear curved. We adjusted the white balance to remove the amber cast, and we expanded the tonal range to improve detail in dark areas. Notice how much more detail is visible in the ceiling of the corrected image.
This image had a blue cast which negatively affected the appearance of the upholstery. We corrected the white balance to ensure accurate upholstery color. We also retouched the image to remove a footprint on the white seamless background.
Our client felt the floor and wall in the original image were a distraction and took attention away from his furniture. We isolated the image on a neutral background and adjusted color balance for accuracy.
